If we were customers, we would probably do the same. Why would you hire 2-3 employees if you can staff only 1 “Universal soldier” Developer who can do all the work and you significantly reduce operational costs and scale your business without losing quality?

However, if we talk about SMB’s they usually don’t have recruiter in-house and even if they have, it’s still quite challenging to source such talents.
